Junior Lifeguard Uniform Starter Set
One Shirt & One Swimwear - 1 Set Per Paid JG Participant Per Year

As part of your JGs enrollment, each participant gets a shirt and swimwear. You'll place the order for this set below. Please select one shirt and one swimwear below, and add it to your cart. Note that a $6 processing/handling fee per Uniform Starter Set is added into the shipping section of your cart.  Additional shipping charges will be added based on the total weight of your cart.  The processing/handling fee is non-refundable as it will be used to either fulfill your order or process the cancel should your not participate this summer.

Once you select a Uniform Starter set for each of your JGs. You can purchase additional items in the same order, so be sure to check out our all new online store!

 

About the JG T-Shirt:

The official uniform T-shirt of the LA County Junior Lifeguard Program, this 6 oz Athletic Heather tee, is made from 90/10 combed ring spun cotton/poly. The Junior Lifeguard LA County Fire Department logo finely silkscreened on both the front left chest and the full back. A Toyota sponsorship logo is printed on the sleeve.

This JG shirt is the required daily uniform of the 2022 LA County Junior Guard Program. These shirts are a different color than previous years so be sure to order extra for the season!

 



About the female Speedo Onepiece

SUPPLY ISSUE (Updated 7/7): Due to an international supply chain crisis, we no longer have, nor expect to restock SPEEDO Onepiece swimsuits in 26Y, 28Y and 26A this season.
The LACo Junior Lifeguard program has modified their Uniform Code to allow the use of Jolyn brand Navy Onepiece Swimwear. Through a generous donation from the LACo Fire Foundation, we were able to source the remaining stock of Jolyn Onepiece to help with our shortage. Our awesome team of Junior Lifeguard trainers were able to do several Jolyn test fittings at our recent Excange Day event, and there are the results:

If you order a Uniform Starter Set in the following sizes, you should order the same SPEEDO size you were looking for.
The SPEEDO item will be substitied with a Jolyn Onepiece in the following manner:
SPEEDO Size 26Y = Jolyn Size 24
SPEEDO Size 28Y = Jolyn Size 26
SPEEDO Size 26A = Jolyn Size 26

*Sizing choices: Note that the sizes are just 22 through 40. There are no youth/adult sizings, though the choice buttons above may indicate this. Choose above based on waist size/number only.

  • Grid tech stretch fabric with durable water repellent (DWR) coating for quick dry time
